MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS)
A MSDS is a form that contains important information about how to safely handle and work with hazardous material used in the work place. A MSDS contains information on toxicity, health effects, first aid, storage, disposal, protective equipment, and spill-handling procedures. Labeling requirements are also defined.
MSDSs are to be kept readily available to all users of the material at all times. To comply with this requirement, generally a book containing a MSDS for each hazardous material used is made available locally. In the event a book or other means to view a MSDS sheet is not available or if the available sheet is more than 3 years old, a current copy of the MSDS can be found by following this link and entering the required information: http://www.ehso.com/msds.php
